It’s the year 324 AD. Emperor Constantine has chosen the ancient city of Byzantium as the site of his glorious new capital: Nova Roma, the New Rome. As the head of a noble Roman house, it is your task to shape this city into a lasting legacy.
In Nova Roma, you must deploy your family members and retainers to achieve a range of objectives: construct grand buildings, dominate vital sea routes, secure essential resources, race in the hippodrome, and recruit powerful specialists to support your strategy.
Every move counts. At the end of the game, the family that best pleases the Emperor while fulfilling its own goals will emerge victorious.
